Work-search skills: a class for women
The New Mexico Commission on the Status of Women, Displaced Homemakers Office, is offering a popular two-day class on Effective Work Search Skills. The class is targeted at women who have been out of the job market for a number of years and need to return to work, and women in transition who need to improve their skills in looking for work. Topics including defining your skills, writing an effective resume, tapping into the hidden job market, and being prepared for today’s interviewing process will be covered.
The class will be held on September 9 and 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the conference room of the New Mexico Commission on the Status of Women office, 4001 Indian School Road NE, Suite 300, in Albuquerque. Lunch is on your own. Seating is limited, so registration is required. For additional information and registration, contact Lorraine Bantista at 841-8923.
