Body of Female Found Near Placitas

The body of a deceased female was found off NM 165 in Placitas on Tuesday, April 18, according to the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office.

The case is in the early stages of the investigation, according to a news release, and the identity of the woman has not yet been determined. 

“We believe this was an isolated incident and there is not a danger to the public at this time,” the Sheriff’s Office says.
