The 8th Annual Mountain West Brewfest is back!

As the leaves begin to change and the fall air becomes crisp, this exciting outdoor beer event in Bernalillo this weekend features New Mexico craft breweries and spirits from throughout the Southwest. This year’s craft beer tasting festival features 10 local breweries and wine from Sheehan winery. For those who don’t partake in beer drinking, cider and local spirits will be on tap.

Like any good beer event, there’s a live music line-up starting at 11 a.m. featuring “tough” country music by The Panhandlers and lively music with cumbia flavor with a touch of tropical rhythm to the Latin music genre by Severo y Grupo Fuego Band. Rounding out the day’s music at 3 p.m. is more country from the Brandon Saiz Band and R&B, Country, Rancheras, Reggaeton fusion band LoPhat takes the stage at 5 p.m.

Munch on delicious food from local food vendors and food trucks. This year, each adult ticket purchased receives a pint glass and seven free samples of any of the delicious craft brews.

Bernalillo’s flagship brew event takes place this Saturday, August 26 at Loretto Park from 11-7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for designated drivers and kiddos. Tickets can be purchased at holdmyticket.com.
