Sandoval County seniors can get free, face-to-face tech help this month when Teeniors — a program pairing tech-savvy teens with older adults — brings classes and one-on-one coaching to Placitas and Bernalillo.
The Placitas session, “Loneliness & Connection in the Digital Age,” runs Friday, May 15 at 10 a.m. at the Placitas Senior Center. Presenter Trish Lopez, Teeniors founder, will lead the class covering social media, AI and online connection before opening the floor for individual coaching.
Bernalillo seniors can attend a “Social Media 101” class — covering Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn basics — Monday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Martha Liebert Library, 124 Calle Malinche. Both events are free and open to all.
Teeniors is a woman-owned Albuquerque business founded in 2015.
